In which sample of water do the water particles have more energy : 5grams of ice cubes at - 10 C, or 5 g of liquid water at 20 C? How do you know?

    5 g of liquid water at 20 C because liquids have a higher kinetic energyand the temperature is higher than that of the ice cubes
