Sodium chloride (NaCl) is salt! Our body uses it to: absorb and transport nutrients, maintain blood pressure, maintain the right balance of fluid, transmit nerve signals, and contract and relax muscles.
It's made when Na (sodium) and Cl (chloride) come together.
