What is a real life example of the nuclear to thermal energy transformation?

    Don't hold me to this, but i believe a good explanation of this is the Sun. The Sun goes through a nuclear transformation constantly by nuclear fusion because it fuses hydrogen atoms to produce helium. When this nuclear transformation happens it results in the release of thermal energy in the form of heat that we feel on Earth
