How does the nuclear model and the solar system model differ from one another?

    The Solar system does not resemble the nuclear model, the Solar system is arranged linearly on the same plane with planets having a more or less orbit in the same plane while in nuclear model electrons rotate in 3 dimensional orbitals in multiple planes.
