Based on the kinetic theory, which statement is true? Matter consists of only large molecules. Matter is made up of only charged particles. The particles of matter have zero kinetic energy and potential energy. The particles of matter are arranged in different ways for the different states.

    According to kinetic theory, gases are the atoms which rapidly and continuously move in random motions.

    Whereas it is known that in solids, molecules are tightly packed due to strong intermolecular forces of attraction between them. Therefore, particles of solids are fixed.

    On the other hand, in liquids molecules are less tightly packed and they are able to slide past each other.

    Thus, we can conclude that based on kinetic theory, the statement particles of matter are arranged in different ways for the different states, is true.
