What's the difference between kinetic energy and potential energy?

    Kinetic energy is energy that is currently in the process of being used, while potential energy is energy that is being stored. Example a rubber band when a rubber band is is being stretched out the energy is being stored up, however when you let the rubber band go the, as the rubber band is flying through the air the kinetic energy is being used

    Kinetic energy is energy in which an object contains do to a particular motion. Potential energy is stored energy due to its state of rest.
