Earth's gravity pulls on both stationary objects and moving objects. true or false?

    True; even though we may not see the gravitational pull, it is there. For example, a book on a table is being pulled by gravity so that it stays on the table instead of floating away. Also, a runner is being pulled by gravity downwards so that he/she is not floating in the air, either.
