How many moles of methane are required to produce 22g co2 after combustion

    CH4 + 2O2 - - > CO2 + 2H20

    Amount of CO2:

    22g / [12.0+2 (16.0) ]

    = 0.5mol

    Mole ratio can be represented as

    CH4 = CO2

    So 0.5 mol of CO2 = 0.5 mol of CH4?
