    John Dalton was the first to propose a theory to describe matter. As per Dalton's model, all matter is composed of atoms which resemble tiny 'ball-like' structures that are indivisible.

    Explanation:

    Dalton believed that the atom is the smallest part of a substance and that an atom cannot be divided into other subparts. But Dalton's atomic model was later proven incorrect.

    The plum pudding model was given by Thompson. Bohr model was that the electrons orbit about the central nucleus in discrete orbits.
