Briefly explain whether the following procedural error would result in either an incorrectly high or incorrectly low calculated percent recovery of Copper

    The situation are given elsewhere and as follows:

    a. when converting Cu (OH) 2 to CuO, the solution was not basic before being heated

    Incorrectly low because not all will precipitate out.

    b. a slightly blue solution was decanted when reducing [Cu (H2O) 6]^2 + with zinc

    Incorrectly low because some copper where disposed.

    c. the water in the beaker containing Cu was boiled away, exposing the watch glass to excess heat

    Incorrectly low because some Cu might be lost.
