Once of the skills necessary for this experiment is dilution. if you have 4.29 ml of. 806 m bleach, what will be the new concentration if the bleach is diluted to 100 ml in a volumetric flask? report answer to 4 decimal places. do no include units.

    The formula reads, molarity of first solution times volume of first solution equals molarity of second solution times volume of second solution. This is written as M1 * V1 = M2 * V2. V1 = 4.29ml and M1 = 0.806. Also V2 = 100ml and M2 = ? So we have 4.29 * 0.806 = 100 * M2

    M2 = (4.29 * 0.806) / 100 M2 = 3.45774/100 = 0.0345774

    So M2 to 4 d. p = 0.0346
