The answer to this question would be: gain electrons and be reduced.

Reduction potential means the tendency of the molecule to be reduced. Being reduced will result in gaining electrons. The molecule will be called oxidizing agent. The opposite molecule would be a reducing agent.

The reducing agent will lose electron so it can be said that it has become oxidized.

Reduction potential is the tendency for a chemical species to gain electrons and be reduced. This process is also known as oxidation, and it is characterized as a measure of the tendency of a chemical species to acquire electrons and thereby be reduced. Keep in mind that it is measured in volts/millivolts (V) / m (V).
