    the answer is C because convalent bond is being bonded to an anion

    The answer above me is incorrect. When a caption and anion are bonded, an ionic bond forms not a covalent one. Ex. NaCl

    The correct answer should be B because polar means that one atom has a stronger pull on the electrons than the other atom.
