    We have to calculate the volume of these objects.

    Density=mass / volume ⇒volume=mass / Density.

    1) Object a

    dа ta:

    mass=500 g

    density=5 g/cm³

    Volume=500 g / (5g/cm³) = 100 cm³

    2) volume of object b

    dа ta:

    mass=650 g

    density=6.5 g/cm³

    Volume=650 g / (6.5 g/cm³) = 100 cm³

    Therefore, the volume of these objects is the same.

    Answer: both objects would displace the same amount of liquid, because the volume would be the same.
