My experiment is:

How does the amount of salt sprinkled on ice affect the time it takes for the ice to melt?

What would be a good hypothesis and what would be the independent and dependent variables?

    The independent variable is the amount of salt added to the ice. The dependent variable is the amount of time it takes for the ice to completely melt.
