A sample of metal has a mass of 16.98 g, and a volume of 7.47 mL. What is the density of this metal?

    Density is g/mL. You simply divide 16.98 g by 7.47 mL. It should give you 2.2730923695 g/mL. You should only have 3 significant figures though so 2.27 g/mL.
