How many electrons does oxygen need to complete its octet?

    From electron configuration of oxygen that 2.6 oxygen require 2 electron to be complete the octet electron configuration. Octet electron configuration require an element to have eight electron in its outermost energy level and since oxygen has six electron in its outermost energy level require two electrons.
