    The new temperature at 12.2 atm of the sample is calculated using the following formula

    P1/T1 = P2/T2

    P1 = 3.9 atm

    T1 = 945k

    P2 = 12.2 atm

    T2=?

    from the formula obove T2 = P2 x T1 / P1

    = 12.2 x945/3.9 = 2956.15 K
