If a method produces a random error for each measurement of 4%, but a percent error of equal to or less than 1% is required for this value for later analysis, what is the minimum number of measurements that must be collected and averaged

    Random error is = 0.282

    Remember (random error / total sum of errors) x 100 = 4%

    Which is 0.282 / total sum of errors = 428.2

    Total sum of errors = 7.05
