    Formula

    V/T = V1/T1

    Givens

    V = 430 L

    T = - 42 °C = - 42 + 273 = 231°K

    V1 = ?

    T1 = 18°C + 273 = 291°K

    The pressure is a constant.

    Solution

    420/231 = V1/291 Multiply by 291

    420*291 / 231 = V1

    V1 = 122220 / 231

    V1 = 521.1 L
