Write out full equation and balance:

    4HCL + O2 = 2H2O + 2Cl2

All gasses of the same mole will take up the same amount of space. No need to convert to moles.

Look at ratio of HCL to Cl2

4:2 which is 2:1 so HCl will produce half volume of Cl2

    1.08 divide 2 = 0.54L
