What is the best explanation for the observation that h2o is a liquid at room temperature and h2s is a gas at room temperature? quizlit?

    H2O there is strong hydrogen bonds, dipole dipole forces of attraction and dispersion forces of attraction which requires alot of energy to overcome

    while in h2S, only dipole dipole and dispersion are present, which requires lesser force to overcome hence h2s has lower bp hence gas at room temp
