Compare and contrast (similar and different) heterogenous and homogenous mixtures

Homogenous mixture is a mixture of the "same", uniform though out. Like mixing salt into water and the salt dissolves.

Heterogenous mixture is a mixture that is not uniform. Like mixing oil and water. You can see the two compounds within the mixture.
