A graduated cylinder was filled with 25.0 mL of liquid. A solid object weighing 73.5 g was immersed in the liquid, raising the liquid level to 43.9 mL. Calculate the density of the solid object.

    Displaced volume:

    Vf - Vi = 43.9 - 25.0 = > 18.9 mL

    D = m / V

    D = 73.5 / 18.9

    D = 3.88 g/mL
