I looked up the recommended amount of fluoride that should be taken in by adults and the average amount is 3.45 g. The amount of sodium fluoride that must be taken in is calculated by,

recommended amount of fluoride = (amount of sodium fluoride) x 0.4524

    Substituting,

    3.45 g = amount of sodium fluoride x 0.4524

The amount of sodium fluoride is equal to 7.63 g.
