Compare solids, liquids, and gases in terms of their shapes and volumes.

    Liquid - takes the shape of the object; particles are able to swiftly move passed each other

    Solid - will retain a constant shape and volume; particles are risge and fixed to one spot

    Gases - takes the shape and volume of the object; particles can move passed one another.
