Scientists follow specific processes in order to determine valid explanations and conclusions from observations. David observed strange lights in the sky above his home outside of Roswell, New Mexico. The only explanation that makes sense to him is that there are UFOs in the area. What should David do next to verify his explanation

Write the local newspaper and explain that UFOs have been seen in the Roswell area

Research any and all data pertaining to the Roswell area, and unidentified flying objects reported in the sky

Make an official report to the United States government about his observation

Ask his neighbors to observe the sky with him for the following few nights, to see if they can repeat the original observation

    The answer to this question is b. David should research any data pertaining to Roswell and UFOs reported. this way he can research to find information that would back up his observation. if he did any of the other answers it wouldn't make his conclusion valid and purely subjective.
