Many dinosaur bones are radioactive. Because of this, they are usually painted over with lead paint. Postulate A reason for why some of these very old fossils would have a radioactive signal and where it might be coming from?

    Mainstream scientists explain this phenomenon by citing elemental uranium deposits in Colorado and Wyoming. These deposits were formed during the Jurassic-age. The radioactivity is generated from sandstones found in the region. However, not all dinosaur bones that are radioactive are discovered in the areas. Most dinosaur bones discovered are highly radioactive. Because of this, the bones displayed in museums are covered with heavily leaded paint.
