You need to make an aqueous solution of. 152 M ammonium sulfate for an experiment in lab, using a 500ml Volumetric flask. how much ammonium sulfate should you add?

    1) so M stands for Molarity and it is equal to mol of solute over Liters of Solution. so

    .152M = mol of ammonium sulfate/.5L of solution (500ml is the same as. 5L)

    2) Solve for mol of ammonium sulfate.

    3) Use the atomic weight of ammonium sulfate to convert from mols to grams and you have your answer
