Give two reasons why a gold ring is not made of 100% gold.

    Gold rings are not made of 100% percent metal but are mixed with metal to create a new compound

    Rings are for daily wear and gold can't keep its form. Gold can be dented or bent which is why it's mixed with harder metals like copper or silver. Another reason is that companies might want bigger profit by using 51% gold so it's still the main metal and can be considered a gold ring
