    Mass = 40.0g

    initial volume = 30.0 cm3

    finial volume = 45.0 cm3

    Volume = Displacement of Final - Initial

    V = 45.0 - 30.0 = 15.0 dm3

    Density = Mass : Volume

    D = 40.0g : 15.0 dm3

    D = 2.67 g/dm3
