    44.0g of CO2 is formed.

    Explanation:

    Using law of definite proportion,

    (6.0g/22) CO2 = 0.2727g of Carbon

    (12/22) CO2 = 0.5455g of Oxygen

    (12g of carbon) / (xg of CO2) = 0.2727

    Xg of CO2 = 12g/0.2727 = 44.0g
