High ATP inhibits the enzyme; fructose-2,6-bisphosphate activates the enzyme.

    Explanation:

PFK-1 inhibitors are ATP and Citrate which is an intermediate metabolite of the aerobic cycle while the activators responsible for reversing such inhibition caused by ATP are ADP, AMP and Fructose - 2,6-bisphosphate. The lats one is a powerful activator of PFK-1 but in the liver.
