    That is electronegativity increases as the size of atom decreases.

    Electronegativity is a measure of an atom’s affinity for electrons. When the size of atom increases, the attraction between nucleus and the shared electron decreases that is atom's affinity for electron decreases that is electronegativity decreases. So when atom size increases, electroneagtivity decreases.
