Which phase change is an example of an exothermic process?

    The phase changes that is associated to the release of energy to the surrounding are freezing and condensation. The phase change called freezing releases energy in order to be in a more packed shape which is the solid phase. The release in energy is also experienced during the phase change called condensation.
