Chemistry is called central science mainly because it is important to other fields of science like biology, geology, physics, etc. Mostly because everything we interact with on a daily - basis involves with chemistry.

Chemistry is often called the central science because of its role in connecting the physical sciences, which include chemistry, with the life sciences and applied sciences such as medicine and engineering.
