Calculate the number of moles in the 2.1-L volume of air in the lungs of the average person. Note that the air is at 37.0ºC (body temperature). Use standard atmospheric pressure.

    Answer: 0.0826mol

    PV=nRT

    n=PV/RT

    n = (1atm) (2.1L) / (310K) (0.082057L*atm/mol*K) = 0.0826mol
