    The chemical formula for magnesium fluoride would be MgF2 (the 2 is subscript but I cannot type that)

    Mm=Molar mass

    Mm (Mg) = 24.31g/mol

    Mm (F) = 19.00g/mol

    Mm (MgF2) = 2 (19.00) + 24.31

    Mm (MgF2) = 62.31g/mol
