What is the difference between AGP and PCIe

    The AGP and PCI-E both are video/graphic cards. Both of them have few differences that are given below.

    Explanation:

    AGP stands for Accelerated Graphics Port and PCI-E stands for Peripheral Component Interconnect Express. AGP card uses the system's memory to complete its operation, while on the other hand PCI-E uses the only memory that is available on the card. AGP does not share the network bandwidth with other device while on the other hand, PCI-E shares its bandwidth with other devices. AGP is 4 times slower than PCI-E.
