The cell will get the value of = B3.

In MS Excel when a value with a formula that can be in a range of cells, the program will automatically get the next cells value. This is solely because of the coding of MS Excel which has an auto fill function coded into the program.

If the cell contains a value and not a formula, then the cell will get whatever value you have placed into the cell you copied from.
