    The owners pay $ 6.34 OR $ 6 and 34 cents, every 30-days.

    Explanation:

    First, we calculate the energy consumption per day:

    Energy Consumed per day = (245 W + 55 W) (6 hr/day) (1 KW/1000 W)

    Energy Consumed per day = 1.8 KWh/day

    Now, we calculate total energy consumed in 30 days:

    Total Energy Consumed in 30 Days = E = (1.8 KWh/day) (30 days)

    E = 54 KWh

    Now, we calculate the cost:

    Cost = (E) (Unit Cost)

    Cost = (54 KWh) (11.75 cents/Kwh)

    Cost = (634.5 cents) ($ 1 / 100 cents)

    Cost = $ 6.34 = $ 6 and 34 cents
