When a mesh in a circuit contains an independent or dependent current source, this leads to a special case of mesh-current analysis. As you can see, there is only one current source in this circuit: the 50 mA source. When a current source is a component in only one of the circuit's meshes, that current source defines the value of the current in that mesh. What is the value of the current ia?

    current ia = 50 mA

    Explanation:

    given data

    mesh-current analysis

current source in circuit = 50 mA

    to find out

    value of the current (ia)

    solution

we know here that in mesh-current analysis with independent or dependent current or contain only here one current source then

there value of the current will be

value of the current (ia) = 50 mA

because value of current source is self indicated mesg current

    so ia = 50 mA
