1. Describe the basic principle of operation of a bipolar junction transistor including

explanation for the following:

a. why majority carriers crossing into the base from the emitter pass to the collector

b. why the collector current is almost unaffected by the collector potential

    Bipolar junction transistor or simply transistor is the same. Two types of charges the hole or the electron makes it bipolar ... The emitter-base junction junction is forward biased to make emitter emit electrons. And base-collector region is reverse biased to collect electron by the collector.
