    C. Rankine cycle

    Explanation:

Generally Rankine is used for steam power plant. It gives the suitable work put. There are lots of limitations in Ericsson, Brayton and diesel cycle that is why we are using Rankine cycle for steam production. In Rankine cycle steam produces in the steam boiler and then allow to pass through steam turbine in which we obtain certain amount work after turbine this steam become wet steam and passes through condenser where heat rejection take place and all wet steam converts in the water then this water is feed to boiler by using feed pump and this cycle works to produce power out put in steam turbine.

Brayton cycle is used in gas turbine. We know that gas turbine is used in flights. And to increase the efficiency of Brayton cycle, Ericssion cycle is used. Diesel cycle is used in heavy vehicle.
