The Environmental purpose behind issuing hunting license is as follows-

Controlling the Animals which have been declared as "Vermin" Public safety. Protecting standing crops from being destroyed by Animal raids. Protecting transmission of disease from infected animal thus controlling it from becoming pandemic.

    Explanation:

The environmental purpose behind issuing a hunting license are many folds. These can be listed as below-

    • Controlling the Animals which have been declared as "Vermin" - Animals which are declared vermin are needed to be controlled. The easiest method to control a large wild population is to issue hunting orders. It is a widely practised procedure to control vermin animals.

    • Public safety - Sometimes an animal can cause safety concern to the public at large. Hence permission for using shooting guns, sting guns, tranquiliser darts are issued for tranquilising the animals and return them to their native spot.

    • Protecting standing crops from being destroyed by Animal raids - Farms in America are regularly raided by wild boars and they cost billions of $ to the federal exchequer. Hence farmers are issued hunting license to shoot such wild boars to protect the standing crops from their onslaught.

    • Protecting transmission of disease from infected animal thus controlling it from becoming pandemic - Disease between animals spread very fast. Hence it is wise to kill or eliminate the infected animal at earliest to spread the disease from becoming the pandemic.
