A yellow bird sat in the birdbath cleaning its feathers. It was enjoying the cool water on a hot day. The bird was unaware of a black cat slowly moving through the tall grass. The cat slinked closer and closer to the birdbath until it was just inches away. The cat jumped three feet in the air to pounce on the bird, but it flew out of the water with a splash. The cat had barely missed the bird. Despite its efforts, the cat was left only with a single yellow feather.
