What Martin Luther King intends to say in this sentence:

"War is a poor chisel to carve out tomorrow."

    I think it could mean 2 things. one could be that war should be made to peace today and not tomorrow. Or it could be that war is a horrible thing that could critically impact our future in a negative way.
