What was gatsbys reaction to daisys child in chapters 6-7?

    He looks at Pammy with surprise. Gatsby can't believe that Daisy's daughter is real. He wants Daisy to sever all ties with Tom, essentially banishing the four years she had been with him. When Gatsby seems Pammy for the first time, he is brought out of his idealism. Considering, she is living proof of Daisy and Tom's relationship.
