    The origin of the word English and England derive from "Engla-land", as its name implies it means the land of angles.

    These words as well as the English language itself, arises from the invasion of Great Britain between the years 400 and 500. During this invasion, the natives of Great Britain were sent to the lands where Scotland, Ireland and Wales are located today.

    That's where these two words are born.

    Today the English language is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world and is considered a universal language.
