    C. Both are seeking fame by pushing the limits: Victor with science guilty of theft. loves Margaret. and Walton with exploration.

    Explanation:

Victor Frankenstein was a scientist that was driven by his goal of bringing the dead back to life thereby creating the monster. Walton was an explorer that sought to go to new places and gain more knowledge. He literally went to the ends of the earth in his exploration of the world.

Walton is willing to lead his crew into dangerous situations to gain fame.

Walton met Frankenstein in the Arctic, and because of this similarity between the two men, when Walton took Victor on board a bond was formed and he repeatedly called him brother.

Both men also left their fathers and a domestic life to seek scientific fame.
